Aly Goni Supports Shehnaaz Gill Amid 'Stop Using Sidharth Shukla' Trend, Says ‘Shehnaaz Ka Poora Haq Banta Hai To Tribute’
Aly Goni has defended Shehnaaz Gill after SidHearts accused her of using Sidharth Shukla’s name for the recently released song, 'Tu Yaheen Hai'.
Television star Aly Goni has tweeted in support of Shehnaaz Gill, who recently released a music video as a tribute to the late Sidharth Shukla. The 30-year-old actor said that she has all the rights to pay a tribute to him.
Goni’s recent tweet comes after Shehnaaz was heavily trolled for the music video as SidHearts said she is trying to use Sidharth Shukla’s name to sell her music video.
Taking to Twitter, Aly Goni quoted a tweet that criticised artists including Shehnaaz, Jaan Kumar Sanu and Amit Tandon for announcing tributes to the actor and wrote, “Stop it guys seriously”.
Another tweet from Aly read: “I think there is a misunderstanding in my last tweet.. first of all Shehnaz ka poora Haq banta hai to tribute (Shehnaaz has all the right to pay her tributes) and I loved that song.. secondly that tweet was for those people who drag Sid in the name of cover songs reels and all. Jo uss tweet mein mention tha..#peaceout.”

For the unversed, Shehnaaz Gill recently released a music video titled 'Tu Yaheen Hai' in memory of Sidharth, who passed away in September due to a heart attack. The song features Shehnaaz leading a lonely life in Sid's memory. 'Tu Yaheen Hai' video showcases several clips from their Bigg Boss 13 stint and other television appearances.
Amit Tandon was also trolled for tagging Sidharth and Shehnaaz on the announcement of his song ‘Dil Ko Karaar Aaya’. He took to Instagram stories and responded to the crass reactions he has received for the announcement of the new song. Amit, in a statement, clarified that it was not a tribute for the late actor.
